2535

This November, Grace Hill is launching 2535, a special initiative to help families in our city who may lose access to SNAP benefits. Inspired by Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:35, we want to stand with our neighbors and make sure no family in Collierville goes hungry. We are asking for like-minded people, who share this concern about vulnerable families in our city, to join this effort by being involved in a few ways:

- Donating suggested food items
- Volunteering at the collection/disctibution site
- Praying for the project

2535 FAQ

Who is behind this project?

2535 is a ministry project of Grace Hill Church in Collierville, Tennessee. It’s one way we’re living out our vision to become a community of grace and peace for the good of our city and the fame of Jesus.

How will you identify families in need?

We are partnering with trusted local organizations to identify families most vulnerable to food insecurity if SNAP benefits are suspended. These partners know the needs on the ground and help us ensure that support reaches those who need it most.

How will you keep people who don’t need help from taking the food or gift cards?

We’re not focused on policing generosity; we’re focused on preventing hunger. The truth is, even one missed paycheck or benefit can push a family into crisis. Our priority is to meet needs with dignity and trust. If a few people receive help they didn’t absolutely need, but dozens of children go to bed fed, that’s a trade we’ll gladly make.
